A three-legged aluminum armature suspends beneath it a series of threaded needles. Drawn taut by a powerful magnet, their points form the outline of half a sphere. The assembly rests on a mirror plate, hiding the magnet and fulfilling the illusion of a free floating sphere with nearly a dozen needles obsessively focused on the epicenter of an eternal attraction.
